Owned influencer marketing projects. Collaborated with business and technology teams across Amazon and Zappos. Developed design ideas with sketches, prototypes and wireframes, and communicated UX vision to senior executives to influence the best experience for customers and influencers. Solve user problems and leverage new technologies to power business success.

 

  • Increased influencer sign-up by 5 times and influencer content by 11 times.

  • Designed large-scale systems and applications for influencer content (shoppable photo, influencer shopping list, influencer storefront, content management, performance review etc.).

Continually advocated for a collaborative and user-centred design process in my domain. Acted as the UX advocate for users to inform product and design strategies, and used quantitative data and qualitative feedback to inform the design decisions iteratively.

  • Successfully reduced 4,320 minutes of account managers’ working time updating promotions (significantly reduced task completion time from 3 days to 1 minute per 1,000 locations per person) by optimizing the account managing tool's UX

HiScene is one of the leading augmented reality technology companies in China. I started at Hiscene as a Senior Designer and 18 months later I was promoted to Design Director. I left this position in 2017 but continued to provide consulting services until October 2019.

  • Recruited, supervised and led a staff of 6 to increase their efficiency; ensured staff was well-versed regarding clients' requirements

  • Responsible for website and mobile application design (art direction, UI/UX design) including developing new digital experiences while evolving and strengthening the ones already in place

  • Led the design of augmented reality smart glasses which received recognition through winning the Red Dot Design and iF Product Design awards.

  • Redesigned the company’s, branding, website, marketing materials and conference slides, increasing the company’s brand awareness by more than 300%

  • Established strategy phases on projects

  • Managed all digital project timelines and ensure deadlines are met

  • Implemented procedures and workflows for all digital projects based on industry best practices, including user research, design sprint, UX audit and user feedback survey.

Led the UI & UX design of Main Design, a mobile application for the design community with a print-on-demand service. The company secured significant funding from angel investors after the successful launch of the Beta version of Main Design.
